Casa CQ

Inhabit was commissioned to design and oversee the architectural renovation of this private home. The challenge was to fuse the traditional existing architecture of the house with a modern façade design. Additionally to the building works Inhabit designed large parts of the interiors such as the staircases, living areas and the master bedroom.

THE EXTERIOR
The main idea behind the renovation project of this house was to open it up and connect the inside with the outside as well as giving the house a more contemporary character.

The Façade is the first impression a building gives off so its crucial it carries the right message. We played with dark slate stone on the front component of the house to contrast the more traditional architecture in the back.
THE INTERIOR
For the master bedroom we eliminated the walls that connect the shower, bathroom and sink with the bedroom and decided on a interior garden partition. This way the entire room feels more open but still gives privacy in the needed areas.
