Casa JM

The 5 Bedroom Villa in Marbella was designed for a young family with a new born child. During the design phase we worked closely with the family to understand their needs, wishes and design preferences. The result is a stunning all round interior with each bedroom having a unique design.

LIVING & TV ROOM
The prevailing grey color palette generates a relaxing atmosphere in this modern designed interior. The smoked mirror and backlighted bookshelf give the space a understated elegance while the touches of rusted orange add warmth and comfort. The bespoke created artwork picks up on all color tones used and binds the room together.
DINING ROOM
Open to the lounge and connected to the kitchen we have the dining area which is highlighted by a striking square marble table for up to 12 guests and a custom designed dining cabinet. The contemporary lighting fixture marks the gathering spot for the entire family so hosting the next dinner party wont be a problem.
MASTER BEDROOM
Our goals here were to maximize the natural light coming through the window and opening the space in a not-so-big room. Due to the use of natural wood, and pattern fabrics the room is saturated with a sense of comfort while the clean lines and the smoked mirror give it the contemporary edge we are always looking for.
KIDS BEDROOM
For a kid their bedroom isn't just a place they go to sleep, it's a place for growing up, studying — but especially, it's a place for having fun & going mad! The room we created has the ability to grow with the child, using natural wooden carpentry with a dusk blue lacquer to create a calming yet playful interior.
GUEST BEDROOM I
For the guest bedroom we gave our preference to darker tones and grey materials. Using a slightly texture wallpaper in combination with a large artwork behind the bed we created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The TV Unit is partly fitted with a marble top to give space to a small working corner.
GUEST BEDROOM II
The Japanese inspired bedroom was fitted with fabric wall panels that are framed in a warm walnut wood. We used a smoked mirror to one side to visually open up the space and make the room feel more interesting. The bold rusted orange toned bed is a sure eye-catcher and makes the room really stand out.
GUEST BEDROOM III
For this bedroom we opted to create a light yet warm toned bedroom by using different materials such as perforated brass metal on the headboard and combining it with a strong teal colored fabric. Due to this being the only bedroom located in the basement of the house we paid extra attention to create a light atmosphere with warm materials.
GYM, BAR & CINEMA ROOM
"No Pain, No Champagne" - We all have our comfort zones so a little reminder to actually put in that work comes in handy from time to time. Following the wishes of our client, we used the large basement space to incorporate a small workout area, a bar and a cinema room. A family hangout that surly will help in making great memories for the young family.
