CORTIJO COÍN
The intent of this project was to refurbish a traditional country house (or as we locals say 'cortijo') in a more rural area, a little inland from Marbella.
As you've come to know we are enthusiast of natural materials and this country home will be designed with such while being anchored to a strong Mediterranean influence.

CONCEPT
We created a more modern distribution and a design that fits the rustic atmosphere of the house and its surroundings. On the ground floor we planned the kitchen and the adjacent living and dining area.
The first floor was completely redone to house a large master bedroom with walk-in wardrobes as well as a neatly incorporated bathroom that leaves nothing to be desired.

KITCHEN
A delicate balance of rustic materials and elegant design, adding just the right amount of warmth and atmosphere through key design details. The prominent grain of the wooden claddings emphasises the style of the country house.
MASTER BEDROOM
Warm colors and lots of natural wood were the main pillars the design centered around. We used wardrobes and wooden claddings to create a uniform look between bed and bathroom areas that was inline with the rest of the house.
The bathroom is neatly tucked behind the bedroom using a stunning travertine stone for the sink as well as the spacious walk in shower.
